Due to the generous support of the McGregor family, Onkaparinga Pony Club is very fortunate to have the use of a beautiful property “Roskhill” at Mt Torrens. Over the past 20 years an impressive cross country course for Pony Club grades 3 to 5 has been built and maintained by our club.

Using this property and our own grounds, Onkaparinga Pony Club contributes three events annually to the South Australian equestrian calendar:

• Encourage Grade 5 One Day Event. Held in February at our grounds. This event is aimed at beginner riders.
• Roskhill Cross Country Training Day. Held in March at Roskhill.
• Roskhill Horse Trials. Held over one weekend in May at Lobethal and Roskhill.

In addition to these club events, as part of the PCASA Southern Zone we are required to assist at four other zone events throughout the year.

Onkaparinga Pony Club is an organisation that relies on volunteers. The assistance of all club families is essential to enable us to provide these competition opportunities for our members and the wider equestrian community. Our club has the expectation that all of our families play their part in helping to run these events. Being involved in this way is an enjoyable and rewarding aspect of being part of our Pony Club.
